Campagnolo Potenza 2018 11Speed Rear Derailleur Short Cage In Silver RD18-POS1S On 11 November 1927, when Tullio Campagnolo found himself all alone at the foot of the first steep climbs of the Croce d’Aune, he was not afraid and did not give up. Now that today we can count on a whole crowd of friends along our path, keen fans and admirers of Campagnolo products, we will never give up. We have chosen this image from the turn of the century to trace the salient stages of our distant and recent history.Campagnolo is not just a company, a logo or a trademark. Campagnolo today can be described as a brand. An organization that has always transmitted and shared a set of values. Campagnolo has become all this in over 80 years, in part thanks to itself, the Campagnolo family, the individuals who every day dedicate all their efforts to a shared goal, but above all, the merit goes to keen cycling fans Campagnolo Potenza 2018 11Speed Rear Derailleur Short Cage In Silver RD18-POS1S With the capability to shift gear wit the speed and precision of Super Record, the new Potenza 11 rear derailleur embodies the performance of top tier cycle components without the price tag. The form of the external pieces allow the rear derailleur to move at a different angle and the internal design pulls the chain closer to the cassette. This translates into better power transfer, more secure grip, better chain/cassette interface and a longer life for consumable components. The chain will grip more teeth (when compared to rear derailleurs without Embrace Technology) and as a result disperse energy across a larger surface area, increasing the life of the cassette and lengthening the lifespan of the chain as well. Technologies: Ultra-Shift™: This control system by Campagnolo is regarded by everyone as the fastest and most precise out there. With this system, you can move the chain simultaneously up 3 sprockets and then 5 down. Furthermore, the lever design allows for an ever lighter shifting, whilst maintaining the "click" sound featured on all Campagnolo® controls. Embrace Technology: This technology increases the number of sprocket teeth wrapped by the chain, allowing smooth, fast, and prompt shifting.Proven to optimise the functionality of the rear derailleur even when using extreme cassettes such as 11-32T. Features: Upper body in ultra-light techno polymer reinforced with glass fibre Multi-shifting technology allows you to upshift up to 3 gears at a time Embrace technology for better drivetrain efficiency Maximum Cassette Capacity: 11-29T (short cage), 11-32T (medium cage) Weight: 200g Lengh -Short cage Box code - RD18-POS1S
