HOT ! Other Products ｜Konami Kukeiha Club: Policenauts (180g, Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 2LP

Old L.A. 2040. The original soundtrack to Hideo Kojima's pre-Metal Gear Solid masterpiece, Policenauts, on vinyl for the first time courtesy of Data Discs! Originally released in Japan-only on the PC-98 in 1994 (then later on Playstation, Sega Saturn, and 3DO), Policenauts blends futuristic sci-fi with a hard boiled detective story and buddy cop antics (Lethal Weapon style) to become one of Kojima's most notable works. Despite never getting an official release outside Japan, the game has garnered a cult following, with the CD-only soundtrack, penned by the mighty Konami Kukeiha Club, becoming increasingly in-demand.
"...John Carpenter-esque synths, piano ballads, infectious rhythm sections and downbeat, smoky brass lines reminiscent of Angelo Badalamenti in Twin Peaks mode. POLICENAUTS is a varied and unique soundtrack, but one that ingeniously manages to bring together its ostensibly disparate parts into a cohesive and beguilingly atmospheric whole." - Data Discs
