Prevent Driver Crinkle and Enhance Your Listening Experience
It happens, the famous driver crinkle. That terrifying sound that happens when Audeze headphones become seated around the ears. It causes concerns and has been a question on many people’s minds as to whether or not they are damaging their planar drivers when the crunch is audible.
Introducing Dekoni Audio Felt Rings, the perfect accessory for your Audeze LCD headphones. These innovative felt rings are designed to be placed between the earpads and the mating surface of the headphone, effectively eliminating the unwanted driver crinkle effect.
When earpads are placed on your head, air pressure can build up inside the earpad, pushing air pressure into the planar diaphragm of your Audeze LCD headphones. This can cause wrinkles in the diaphragm, affecting long term sound quality. Dekoni Audio Felt Rings address this issue by allowing air pressure to release smoothly, ensuring your headphones deliver the purest sound possible.
Choose Your Style
Outer Felt Ring: This style features a felt ring that covers only the outer edge of the mating surface, providing a balance between offering air pressure relief and retaining a reflective surface around the driver ports. This is closest to the Stock felt rings from Audeze.
Extended Felt Ring: This style provides full coverage of the mating surface, offering protection against air pressure build-up but also dampening around the drivers edge.
Upgrade your Audeze LCD headphones with Dekoni Audio Felt Rings and enjoy unparalleled driver protection.
