Rutte Dutch Dry Gin is the contemporary evolution of Rutte's acclaimed Celery Gin, made by Rutte & Zonen in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, a family distillery founded in 1872 whose founder Simon Rutte and his sons experimented with unusual botanicals from the start. It uses organic ingredients including cardamom and a special aromatic variety of celery, not the salad kind, and, unusually for gin, distills freshly hand-peeled orange zest. It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof). The result is a crisp, juniper-led dry gin with a bright fresh-orange lift, a whisper of savory celery and a soft cardamom spice. Rutte reworked the packaging and name after agreeing with drinkers that the celery was more of an accent than a headline, so this is a classic, versatile gin first: excellent in a G&T with an orange twist, a clean Martini or a Negroni. Dutch distilling heritage at a very fair price.Buy Rutte Dutch Dry Gin online with fast shipping right to your door.
