Product Overview
This cold side intercooler pipe kit is designed to replace restrictive, failure prone factory plastic intercooler pipes on 6.6L Duramax LBZ and LMM trucks. The kit features a 3.5 inch mandrel bent polished aluminum pipe that eliminates sharp bends in the factory design, improving airflow to the engine for better power output and lower exhaust gas temperatures.
Common Faults & Replacement Symptoms

Factory intercooler pipe cracks or split boots causing boost leaks leading to reduced engine power
Increased exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) and poor fuel economy due to unmeasured air loss
Check engine light activation with boost pressure related diagnostic trouble codes
Visible oil leaks around intercooler pipe connections indicating worn or damaged seals
Audible whistling or hissing sounds from the engine bay under acceleration caused by boost leaks

Ideal For

DIY diesel truck owners replacing faulty or cracked factory intercooler pipes
Performance enthusiasts looking to upgrade their intercooler system for improved airflow and power
Automotive repair shops seeking reliable, direct fit replacement parts for 6.6L Duramax truck repairs
