HOT ! A Thoughtful Choice｜Matsui The Peated Single Malt Japanese Whisky｜ Other Products

Matsui The Peated Single Malt Japanese Whisky is the smoky expression from the Kurayoshi Distillery of Matsui Shuzo in Tottori Prefecture, on the Sea of Japan coast. Made from peated malted barley, matured in oak and bottled at 48% ABV, it brings Islay-style smoke to Japanese single malt. The peat is present but polished: campfire smoke, sea air and a touch of medicinal peat on the nose, a palate of sweet malt, honey and citrus wrapped in smoke, and a long, dry, smoky finish. The 48% strength carries the smoke well and rewards a drop of water. It is a whisky for peat lovers who want to explore Japan, and it makes a striking smoky highball. This 750ml bottle is a strong-value peated Japanese single malt.
