The Gibson L-00 Century 12-Fret Acoustic Guitar delivers some of the most resonant and warm-sounding interpretations of the legendary L-00 ever produced, now offered at an attractive value that includes a premium Century Collection tweed hardshell case. Available at Sky Music Australia, this model captures the intimate voice and historic charm of Gibson’s iconic parlor acoustic design with enhanced vintage-correct refinement.
First introduced in the early 1930s, the Gibson L-00 quickly became one of the most recognised small-body acoustics in the Gibson lineup, celebrated for its compact feel and famously balanced tone. This Century 12-Fret edition refines that heritage with a revised neck-to-body joint that moves to a 12-fret design, shifting the bridge into a more resonant area of the top for increased warmth, responsiveness, and tonal complexity. The result is a lively, articulate acoustic voice that excels in fingerstyle playing and nuanced dynamics. A solid Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides delivers classic Gibson warmth with clarity and depth, while the SlimTaper mahogany neck ensures comfortable, authentic vintage feel.
