HOT ! Reserve Yours｜ Other Products ｜Lee Fields & The Expressions: Special Night (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Pure, unadulterated soul music from veteran singer/songwriter Lee Fields. There are few soul artists out there still doing it that can claim a catalog that spans back to the 70's, and Lee Fields is one of them. By this point in the North Carolina soul singer's career, he has pretty much mastered the art, and this 17th(!) album is the proof. Special Night finds Lee teaming up with the always on-point Expressions (who co-wrote every song with Fields) and producers Leon Michels (El Michels Affair) and Thomas Brenneck, for a masterclass in soul. From beginning to end, Fields draws on his extraordinary experience to deliver soul music as it is meant to be - music for real people. From Fields - "You can tell if a song is real or not, and every moment I’m recording, those moments are real, this is a record about what people do in real life." True that. 10 tracks in all for lovers of funk and soul. Limited edition red vinyl pressing with download code included.
